The LGU Flat is primarily used for LGU business but can also be available to rent throughout the year (with the exception of the Christmas/New Year period) for a maximum of four people. The LGU flat is situated next door to the LGU office.  It is close to the centre of town, only a few hundred yards from the Old Course and the British Golf Museum, and has a lovely view overlooking St. Andrews Bay. There are many excellent golf courses in the immediate area and Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh are all within easy travelling distance.

The flat has one twin bedroom, while the lounge is furnished with a double sofa bed, colour TV, freeview and video/dvd players. The bathroom has both bath and over-bath shower. Towels and bedlinen are provided. The kitchen is small but fully equipped with cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine/dryer, toaster, kettle, cutlery, crockery and pots/pans. A full gas central heating system is installed.

There is limited on-street parking in front of the flat, while a large public car park is a few yards away, beside the British Golf Museum.

The flat cannot be booked more than 16 weeks in advance. Occupancy is for a maximum of four people for a minimum of 2 nights. A non-returnable deposit of 30% of the total accommodation cost is required on booking, and the balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Please note that pets are not allowed in the flat and a no-smoking policy is in operation.

The flat will normally be available for occupancy from 4pm on the day of arrival, while checkout is no later than 11am on the day of departure.

The keys can be collected from the LGU office, which is situated next door to the flat, between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Outwith these hours, or at the weekend, the keys can be collected from the reception of The Scores Hotel.
