Monifieth links will face tough challenge from quality young field
Monifieth Links will host a qualiy field for next month's British Girls' Championship. This year's exceptional entry has resulted in only players with handicaps of 4.5 or better being offered a place in the quality field. A substantial waiting list of single figure players will be watching things closely.Curtis Cup player Carly Booth, holding the lowest handicap, will be favourite on paper but a strong contingent of French and Italian players will be hoping to take the title overseas.
Spectators will be welcome and admission is free.
